I started my sound experimentation by downloading Arcade, an application with various samples and digital musical instruments that you can play with for free. It has a wide range of samples of all genres and so I thought it would be perfect for what I envisioned for my soundtracks, combining both electronic synths with classic jazz and blues elements.
This is part of the session I had in Arcade where I was just getting a feel for how the application worked, looking for samples I might use later on, as well as experimenting with the effects and distortions that are available within the app.
